The Summer School, scheduled from the 28th of September to the 2nd of October 2015, aims at improving competences and relations of public and private representatives of Euro-Mediterranean organizations interested in cooperation programmes and projects.
The initiative is supported by relevant Euro-Mediterranean partners like the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce, ASCAME; the Chamber of Commerce of Beirut – CCIA-BML; the Confederation of Associations of European Business in Egypt, CEEBA and the network Re.C.O.Med.
The common idea of organizing the Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation Summer School 2015 starts from three main opportunities:
– to improve competences and relations of people interested in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation
– to share the ENPI CBC MED or other Euro-Med experiences of the closing programme (2007-2013) to enhance the opportunities of their sustainability
– to start the thought process of proposals under the new ENI 2014-2020 programme.
The multilateral cross-border cooperation “Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme” is part of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) and of its financing instrument
Over € 209 million have been granted by the European Union to the ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme for the period 2014-2020.
