ASCAME will organize with the investment network ANIMA, ADER Méditerranée and the Provence Alpes Côtes d’Azur region, the ReaMed forum “European regulations, soon to be Mediterranean: an opportunity for markets and research” which will take place on 30 and 31 March 2015 at the Villa- Méditerranée in Marseille, France.

This event, which will be aimed at entrepreneurs, researchers and economic development players, will focus on the development of Euro-Mediterranean exchanges and the circulation of innovation in the fine chemicals, green chemistry and agri-food sectors are at the heart of European concerns.

The ReaMed Forum, supported by the PACA Region, aims to:

– Enhance the potential of research and innovation and open new opportunities between the two shores of the Mediterranean;

– Support project leaders in the timely use of European regulations;

– Stimulate the creation of innovative companies by encouraging partnerships between Euro-Mediterranean actors.

The forum will take place in the form of:

– A plenary session on the morning of Monday 30 March 2015, the two themes of which will be “Impacts of the Reach, Cosmetics and Agri-Food Regulations” and “State of play of International Trade and Research between Europe and the Mediterranean”.

– Parallel perspective reflection workshops in the afternoon, the first of which will focus on “How to integrate the specificities linked to local resources and traditional know-how in the implementation of European regulations? “and the second on “Green Chemistry, Materials, Cosmetics, Microreactors, Economic Development and Research and Development”.

– A training-coaching workshop will be held on 31 October on “Regulations, Green Chemistry, Cosmetics, Dairy Sector, Economic Development and Research and Development”.
