The ASCAME Executive Committee has approved several projects and initiatives in favour of the economic and business development in the Mediterranean.

The Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), the main representative of the private sector in the Mediterranean, has convened in Tangiers (Morocco) the Executive Committee who has approved, among other resolutions, the re-election of the President Mohamed Choucair for the next two years after a first successful mandate.

During the Executive Committee were also presented the 22 projects co-financed by the EU and managed by the ASCAME network for an amount of 60 million euros. In this regards, the Committee has encouraged the members to follow the networking in favour of Mediterranean cooperation.
