The second official meeting of the HOMERe project will be held on March 27 in Morocco
Its main objective is to increase employability for high-level graduates in the region and, in particular their access to qualified first jobs, through the implementation of 6 months international internships at the headquarters of a company with Mediterranean developments prospects.
This meeting will be inaugurated by a session dealing with employability of the young graduates in Morocco. Then the HOMERe project will be presented at the audience and two round tables will close the meeting; the first one will be about international internships and experiences and the other one about the implementation of the HOMERe consortium.
Initiated by the Réseau Méditerranéen des Ecoles d’Ingénieur et de Management (RMEI) and the French Foreign Trade Advisors, this program is now labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM). ASCAME has been involved in this initiative since the outset, while the project is also supported by others organizations such as the Union of Mediterranean Confederation of Enterprises (BusinessMed), the Union of the Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED), etc.
On the other hand, HOMERe will facilitate recruitment procedures and guarantee successful recruitment procedures for employers located in the participating countries. HOMERe will support employers in identifying high-level postgraduates whose profile meets their business needs in the region. Through the selection of internship positions fitting as much as possible with the companies’ real needs, HOMERe will also involve employers in the skills development of postgraduates.
HOMERe involves 4 Northern countries (Spain, France, Greece, Italy) and 5 Southern countries (Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia) of the Mediterranean.
