Barcelona, 09 June 2016 – The Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), the main representative of the Mediterranean private sector, held its Ordinary Board meeting on 8th June in the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Barcelona.
The meeting was chaired by Mr Mohamed Choucair, President of ASCAME, and the Board Members.
During the meeting, some internal and regional issues were discussed such as the upcoming events Meditour 2016, the Meda Finance Egypt, Meda Week 2016, as well as new cooperation projects and the preparation for the next CEX.
During the meeting, the members of the Board praised the efforts of the Secretariat and their continuous efforts and dedication to the tasks at hand. The next ASCAME Statutory Meetings (Executive Committee, Board and General Assembly) will be held in Turkey, Spain and Lebanon.
