Mediterranean companies, chambers of commerce, and institutional and business organisations attended on the 20th of February a webinar hosted by ASCAME to have more details about the Mediterranean Pavilion at the World of Travel, Trade & Taste Expo 2025, which will take place from the 29th to the 31st of May at Metro Toronto Convention Centre (Toronto, Canada). The initiative, led by ASCAME in collaboration with Euromed Group and the Canadian Chamber in Italy, offers a unique opportunity to Mediterranean institutions, associations, companies, and professionals to seek a strategic entry into the Canadian market.

The webinar started with an explanation of the Mediterranean Pavilion given by Ms. Andrea Mullerat, ASCAME’s Corporate Development & Marketing Manager, who highlighted the main reasons why to participate in:

Within the second half of the webinar, we counted on the participation of Mr. Gregory Smith, Director of the ‘World of Travel, Trade & Taste Expo 2025′, who talked about the main strengths of this international summit. According to him, “this is a global marketplace that brings together leading professionals and business from travel, trade, investment, and other key sector”. In this regard, Mr. Smith added, “this dynamic event provides a platform for global and regional partners to connect, collaborate, and explore new business opportunities”.

The director of the summit underlined that “this event highlights innovative solutions in sustainable development, promotes responsible investment, and supports the growth of emerging markets”. With a strong focus on promoting sustainable living for a sustainable future, the event stresses responsible business practices that benefit communities, the environment, and the global economy. In this sense, “there will be many collaborative opportunities between Mediterranean companies and global organizations focusing on green technologies, sustainable infrastructure, sustainable tourism and organic agriculture”.

In addition, Mr. Smith highlighted “the multicultural environment of Toronto which will be represented in the summit with exhibitors from different cultures and economic sectors”. According to him, “in the last years this city has become a multicultural destination for many companies and delegations that are based on the Mediterranean”. In this sense, the speaker remarked that “We are committed to facilitating international collaboration and creating opportunities for countries and organizations to promote their sustainable initiatives for a better future”.
