The city of Piraeus and the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce & Industry host the “European Maritime Day 2015”.
The biggest open event in Europe, European Maritime Day 2015, devoted to the sea and reference point for the whole community of maritime affairs in the EU, will be held in Greece, in the city of Piraeus, from the 28th to the 31st of May 2015.
The European Maritime Day Conference will host high-level sessions and stakeholder workshops attracting delegates and experts from across Europe and beyond. Speakers including Ministers, Commissioners, CEOs and experts, will discuss the spectrum of opportunities and great challenges that our coasts and seas present, share best practices, and develop new synergies. Also, in the host city, there will be exhibitions, as well as public and networking events.
The Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, having within its direct priorities the promotion of the policy to support “blue growth” and being a basic cell of Greek shipping entrepreneurship, participates in the said event with various activities such as a special organized exhibition area and a thematic workshop on maritime “clusters”.
In this context, everyone can join this unique event, in order to exchange views and develop new synergies on best practices, on the crucial issue of the blue economy.
