The Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) chairs the ASCAME Urban Development Commission. In a context of strong urbanization, as it is the case in the Mediterranean, the establishment of a system of cities, socially and economically viable is essential to support the development. That is why the planning tools have to adapt to the current urban challenges of our region and a public-private partnership is vital.

The main objective of the Urban Development Commission is to drive the Mediterranean actors to adopt suitable and viable measures regarding urban development.
