The Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) in Egypt, chairs the ASCAME Industry & Intellectual Property Commission.

The Intellectual property which gathers the industrial property (patents, certificates, etc.) and cultural property (copyright, related right, etc.) is the main element to take into consideration in the development and the protection of the Mediterranean region and its enterprises. Furthermore, the Mediterranean continent has an invaluable cultural heritage and an obvious cultural diversity that represents a real advantage to reduce poverty and reach sustainable development.

The main objective of the Industry & Intellectual Property Commission is to raise awareness and encourage the actions of the Mediterranean actors to preserve the cultural heritage in our region.
