FIREMED, represented by ASCAME, together with 100 other representatives from more than 60 projects, participated in the Joint Communication Training, which was co-organised by the Mediterranean and South-East Europe transnational programmes on 2 and 3 June in Bled (Slovenia).

During the two days of training, different sessions on Communication Strategies were organised with the following objectives: how to use social networks to raise awareness among project stakeholders; how to organise and make a success of the “Closing Events”; how to use different communication techniques to disseminate the project results in the best possible way and finally how to promote the project at EU level.

The event was a unique opportunity to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience between the SEE and MED programmes through the different networking possibilities, and the creation of an open-space to create synergies between projects focused on the same topic.

The training aimed at supporting the communication officers of the projects in the framework of the communication activities allows continuing on the right track to better disseminate the projects’ results by increasing their impact in order to reach an appropriate audience.
