Barcelona, 15 March 2016 – The president of the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), Mohamed Choucair, is attending these days a bilateral meeting with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and multiple economic authorities of the Emirate.
Choucair has remarked the importance of developing economic and trade ties between the Mediterranean countries and the Gulf region, giving us an example of the potential of economic cooperation between Lebanon and Oman. Choucair said that the visit does not only aim at creating bilateral investment opportunities but also to create partnerships with Oman to invest in other countries as well.
This visit is in line with several other visits recently undertaken by the President of ASCAME, as proof of the Association’s commitment with Mediterranean trade ties with the Gulf region, emerging as a potential economic partner of the region.
