ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM project is boosting the organic agriculture sector in the Mediterranean region by:

• Building solid and long-lasting alliances among public and private actors working on this sector in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
• Training and supporting innovative projects and farms transitioning from traditional to organic agriculture.
• Working closely with competent authorities such as Ministries of Agriculture, certification bodies, etc.. to adapt policies and regulations.
• Launching an online platform run by experts where any organic operator, entrepreneur, distributor, etc… based in Tunisia, Lebanon, Jordan, Italy or Greece can “ask anything” and receive assistance and guidance for free. Some of the topics producers and operators can send a request about are:
  1. Agriculture production for organic farming
  2. Financial Services with emphasis on agriculture products
  3. Marketing, access to markets, branding, label requirements
  4. Organic certification process
  5. Renewable energy, innovative value chain
  6. Traceability process and implementation
  7. Organic agro-processing (HHACCP, GMP, ISO..)
  8. Statistics (import, export, seasonality…)
