Description: The workshop “Boosting employability in the Mediterranean region: which role for internships? Lessons learnt and future perspectives of HOMERe UfM labelled project” will take place on Thursday 13 July 2017 at the UfM Secretariat Headquarters in Barcelona.

 

The HOMERe – High Opportunity for Mediterranean Executive Recruitment is a project labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) under the Med4Jobs Initiative, which promotes student internships to help young people avoid skills mismatch on the labour market and create more opportunities for youth mobility between Algeria, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Spain and Tunisia.

 

The workshop will gather representatives from entreprises, higher education institutions and civil society organizations from both rims of the Mediterranean to discuss opportunities and challenges related to the development of internships in the region and the specific role of the private sector in that regard.
