ASCAME meets the Cyprus Presidency to strengthen cooperation and create effective business partnerships in the region

The President of the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), Mohamed Choucair, met in Beirut, Lebanon, with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Enstaassadis, to further discuss trade relations between Lebanon and Cyprus and investment opportunities in the Mediterranean region as a whole.

ASCAME has met this Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt, with the Director General of European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), Christian Danielsson, EU ambassador to Egypt Ivan Surkoš, and Middle East Head of Unit Michael Miller, to discuss the regional economic situation, how to further economic cooperation, and support stabilisation in the region.
