International Meeting on the Development of Renewable Energies in Algeria

In the framework of the development of the HOMERe Project, a Symposium will be organized in Citavecchia, on 28th March, in order to analyze the job opportunities offered by the maritime sector for the HOMERE internships and for the youth employability. This colloquium aims to describe in practical terms the challenges of the Blue Economy regarding employability of Youth and sustainability.

ASCAME – in the framework of the InnoBlueGrowth project – co-organises this event to gather and to encourage the Mediterranean business community in developing Policy and Education Strategies based on the outputs of the Med Blue Growth Community Projects. This event will gather experts and key players from the blue economy sector of the Mediterranean region.

The Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize a Conference on Maritime Cluster and Logistics, in an effort to promote and expand the creation of the first Greek electronic platform “Maritime Hellas”. The event will also be the scenario of meetings of ASCAME Working Commissions.

ASCAME, the Egyptian Government, the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, the Union of African Chambers of Commerce, the League of Arab States, the Union of Arab Chambers and the Islamic Chamber, “Together for Africa”, co-organize, under the Egyptian presidency of the African Union, the 4th Egypt Investment Forum. It will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from 2nd to 4th March 2019 with the slogan "Go Africa", under the auspices of H.E Abdel Fatah El Sisi, President of Egypt.

The Croatian Chamber of Economy - Regional County Chamber Rijeka will organize the economic event Adria4Blue, devoted to the Blue Economy and Sustainable Development.The event will have an exhibition, presentation and conference section and will be held in the beautiful ambience of port of Rijeka, while the famous sailing regatta Fiumanka will also be held there. Four thematic units will be dicussed: green and smart coasts, green navigation, blue energy and clean waters and food from the sea.

The Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes the 15th Mediterranean Building Exhibition MEDIBAT 2019 from March 6th – 9th March 2019 in Sfax – Tunisia. This edition will focus on the presentation and promotion of innovations in the construction sector and related services and will enhance cooperation and partnership between professionals in the sector. This biennial event gathers professionals in the building and public works sector from the whole world. During the previous edition, MEDIBAT 2017 hosted more than 350 exhibitors from 19 countries and around 47,000 visitors from 35 countries.

The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), the European Commission (EC), the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) jointly organise a regional seminar on “Horizon 2020: Addressing Euro-Mediterranean Common Challenges through Research and Innovation Cooperation” which will take place on Tuesday 22 January 2019 at the Euromed University of Fes, Morocco.
